Code Lyoko and Fantastic Four acquired by further broadcasters
Paris, Los Angeles, London, xx November 2006: Taffy Entertainment, the worldwide distribution, brand management and entertainment company, is bolstering the presence of its hit animated shows Code Lyoko and Fantastic Four in Latin America with key sales.
Jetix Latin America has committed to seasons three and four of Code Lyoko following the popularity of the first 52 episodes with audiences. The first and second series also currently air on Chilean national network TVN in Latin America. In a separate deal, Fantastic Four has sold to Cartoon Network Latin America and free TV broadcaster TVN in Chile with Fox picking up home entertainment rights.

MoonScoop is currently in production on the fourth season of Code Lyoko, bringing the total number of episodes to 97.The series airs on Cartoon Network in the US and around the world on channels including Cartoon Network Spain and the Toonami channel in the UK, France 3 and Canal J plus French-speaking channels RTBF in Belgium and Swiss channel TSR, Cartoon Network and Channel 10 in Australia.
Also airing Code Lyoko are Canada's YTV and Radio Canada, the Disney Channel and Rai 2 in Italy, NRK in Norway, Sweden's SVT-Barkalanen, S4C in Wales, Canal+ in Poland, Hong Kong's TVB, Lithuanian LNK, India's Star TV, Morocco's 2M, TVN in Chile, MBC3 in Middle East, Noga in Israel and CFI in Africa.
Taffy Entertainment has a strong merchandising campaign in place for the show, with a broad range of licensed products within toys, apparel, stationery and school bags. Marvel Toys holds the master toy license and has launched a new toy line at mass retail outlets in the US, including Toys ‘R' Us, Wal*Mart and Target.
Fantastic Four, based on the classic Marvel characters, is an action-comedy animation series, co-produced by MoonScoop and Marvel, with the participation of Cartoon Network Europe and M6.
The 26x26' television series combines a dynamic mix of 2D and 3D animation. It brings to life Marvel's cult comic book heroes for 6-11 year olds as well as Fantastic Four fans of all ages. Taffy Entertainment has distribution rights outside the US, with Marvel handling US television and subsequent DVD distribution rights and worldwide merchandising.
Fantastic Four was recently picked up by YTV and Vrak TV in Canada, Cartoon Network Germany, TV Catalunya in Spain, TVN Chile, Club RTL in Belgium, MBC in the Middle East, NTV 7 in Malaysia and Alter Channel in Greece. It will also be seen on Cartoon Network in Europe, Latin America and Asia in 2007. These broadcasters join M6 in France, where the show has garnered an average of 600,000 viewers and a 28% audience share in children 4-14 years old since its October 2006 premiere.
