22/11/2006 TAFFY ENTERTAINMENT CONTINUES RAPID GROWTH

New Shanghai Office Opens On the Heels of Several Sales
Completed With Asian Broadcasters Across Taffy's Library

Paris, 22 November 2006: Taffy Entertainment, the worldwide distribution, brand management and entertainment company, is continuing its rapid global expansion with the opening of a new office in Shanghai, further cementing its presence in Asia. The new base will be headed by Yangsook (Grace) Lee, an experienced sales executive who will focus on extending the reach of Taffy Entertainment programming with Asian broadcasters.

Lee has an established track record in the TV and advertising industries, with an extensive working knowledge of the Asian markets. She has held the position of International Sales Manager at Neuroplanet Group where she was responsible for the Asia Pacific region and most recently she was VP Business Development at advertising and live show producer House Films.

With offices in LA, Paris and more recently London, the launch of an Asian office enables Taffy Entertainment to underscore its goal of consolidating the penetration of its brands in commercial arenas around the world.

"Asia is already one of the largest and most important television markets in the world, and it's still growing," said Lionel Marty, President, Worldwide Distribution for Taffy Entertainment. "We already have excellent relationships in place with broadcasters and producers through our many co-production partnerships. The new office will help drive our business further forward in this key region and we are delighted to welcome Grace, another valuable addition to our sales team."

The new Shanghai office also comes on the heels of several deals recently signed throughout Asia, enabling Taffy Entertainment to head to the Asia Television Forum in Singapore with a number of sales already signed in the region.

Taffy Entertainment's Fantastic Four, the new high-profile series based on the classic Marvel characters, has been snapped up by NTV7 in Malaysia, alongside a deal with Singapore's TV12. TV12 has also acquired SamSam, a new comic-book-based 3D animated television property produced by Bayard Jeunesse Animation in HD, and ToddWorld. SamSam has also been pre-bought by C4U in Korea and the Yoyo channel in Taiwan. C4U also pre-bought the CGI animation series Dive Olly Dive! and in Indonesia PT Cintra has acquired all three seasons of Code Lyoko.

In further deals, Cartoon Network Asia has committed to Pet Alien 2. Little Vampire (52x13'), a series aimed at 6-10 year olds and based on the comic books by Joanne Sfar. The series has also been snapped up by Hong Kong's ATV and the Horror Channel Japan, in a deal brokered through Tokyo Media and Hiro International. Preschool show Babaloos on Vacations has been renewed for a third time with TWA Japan.

These Taffy Entertainment deals in Asia follow hot on the heels of a co-production agreement with Korean broadcaster EBS and France 5, for its new preschool series Lamimila produced by MoonScoop and Characterplan.

MoonScoop is now in production on a fourth season of Code Lyoko, bringing the total number of episodes to 97, together with a 45' special. The series airs on Cartoon Network in the US and around the world. Taffy Entertainment has a strong merchandising campaign in place for the show, with a broad range of licensed products within toys, apparel, stationery and school bags. Marvel Toys holds the master toy license and has launched a new toy line at mass retail outlets in the US, including Toys ‘R' Us, Wal*Mart and Target.

Fantastic Four, based on the classic Marvel characters, is an action-comedy animation series, co-produced by MoonScoop and Marvel, with the participation of Cartoon Network Europe and M6. The 26x26' television series combines a dynamic mix of 2D and 3D animation. It brings to life Marvel's cult comic book heroes for 6-11 year olds as well as Fantastic Four fans of all ages. Taffy Entertainment has distribution rights outside the US, with Marvel handling US television and subsequent DVD distribution rights and worldwide merchandising.

Aimed at 4-6 year olds, SamSam is the smallest of super heroes, created by Serge Bloch. Taffy Entertainment represents all international rights to the property. With SamTeddy and his superhero parents, SamSam ventures into space in his SamSaucer and fights monsters representing his childhood fears.

Pet Alien is a co-production between Mike Young Productions, MoonScoop, TF1 France Crest, India and Telegael, Ireland. The 52x11' series follows the adventures of Tommy, a rather normal video-game playing, taffy-eating 12-year-old, as he gets some help in every aspect of his complicated pre-adolescent Earth life from his alien friends: Dinko, Gumpers, Flip, Swanky and Scruffy, who take up residence in Tommy's lighthouse hideaway.

Dive Olly Dive! is a co-production of Mike Young Productions Limited, Flying Bark Productions of Australia, KI.KA, ARD of Germany, Telegael of Ireland and GDC. Created by Andrew and Ian Ross, it is produced with the support of the MEDIA Plus Programme of the European Community. The 52 x 11" series follows the fun-filled underwater escapades of Olly and Beth, two young, research-submarines-in-training. The two live in a deep-sea research center referred to as SURF--the Special Underwater Research Facility, where they experience the joys and challenges of life in their underwater world, much in the same way that preschoolers experience life in their world.

Little Vampire follows the adventures of a regular little boy and his mischievous monster friends. The series is a MoonScoop co-production with Paris-based Story and Telegael from Ireland, in collaboration with France 3.
