12/12/2006 TAFFY ENTERTAINMENT WINS FRANCE'S PRIX DE L'EXPORT

Prestigious French Award Given by TV France International
for International Sales Success

Paris, 12 December 2006: Taffy Entertainment, the worldwide distribution, brand management and entertainment company, has won France's prestigious Prix de l'Export 2006 Award for Animation, recognising the significant international success of its hit property Code Lyoko. The annual prize is based on several criteria, including the number of television sales, and the profile of the broadcasters. The award was presented Monday night by Jean Louis Guillaud, President of TV France International (TVFI) at the PROCIREP Producer Awards ceremony in Paris.

TVFI's Prix de l'Export Award is given annually to the best-selling French television programs in markets outside of France. The award underscores the economic and cultural impact of programs sold outside of France and recognizes the commercial dynamism of French distributors.

"The impact of Code Lyoko's success is being felt in every corner of the globe," said Lionel Marty, President of Worldwide Distribution at Taffy Entertainment. "This success is the result of a great collaboration between the production team, the broadcasters that have been involved from the beginning: Canal J, France 3 and Cartoon Network as well as Marie Conge, our Senior Vice President, International Sales and the marketing team here at Taffy Entertainment."

Code Lyoko is the high-tech, animated action-adventure series produced by MoonScoop and co-produced with France 3 and Canal J, with support from the CNC, Cartoon Network, Agogo, the Poitou-Charentes Region and the Charentes Regional Council. It is distributed worldwide by Taffy Entertainment and has now become one of France's best-selling animated shows. One of the top-rated animated series on Cartoon Network in the US and France 3, it has also been voted Best Programme on Canal J by viewers in an online poll.

Complementing the animated series, Code Lyoko currently has one of the most-popular games on the Cartoon Network website, and the theme song from the series, "A World Without Danger," consistently ranks among the top Children's Music downloads on iTunes. Taffy Entertainment also has a strong merchandising campaign in place for the show, with a broad range of licensed products within toys, apparel, stationery and school bags. Marvel Toys holds the master toy license and has launched a toy line at mass retail outlets in the US, including Toys ‘R' Us, Wal*Mart and Target. The show is also increasingly popular online, with an average of six million pages viewed on the official website per month and membership totalling over 300,000.

MoonScoop is currently producing a fourth season of Code Lyoko which is set to be delivered in September 2007, bringing the total number of episodes to 97.

Code Lyoko broadcasts worldwide on channels including Channel Ten and Cartoon Network in Australia, Cartoon Network Spain, the Toonami channel in the UK, the Disney Channel and Rai 2 in Italy, with Jetix Latin America also recently committed to seasons three and four following the popularity of the first two series.

Additional Code Lyoko broadcasters include: Canada's YTV and Radio Canada, NRK in Norway, Sweden's SVT-Barkalanen, S4C in Wales, Canal+ in Poland, Hong Kong's TVB, Lithuanian LNK, India's Star TV, Morocco's 2M, TVN in Chile, Noga in Israel, CFI in Africa and Indonesia's PT Cintra alongside French-speaking channels RTBF in Belgium and Swiss channel TSR, TV 12 in Singapore, Alter Channel in Greece, Forta Channels in Spain, VRT in Flemish speaking Belgium, LM Info in Croatia and MTV3 in Finland.

The series combines the latest advances in 2D animation and 3D computer graphic imagery (CGI), in each half hour episode. The fast-paced show follows the adventures of four ordinary students: Yumi, Ulrich, Odd and Jeremy, who secretly lead double lives as action heroes with special powers in the virtual digital world of Lyoko.
